Rails Baseline gives Rails developers and coding-agent builders a production-ready Rails 8 foundation for products they intend to keep extending. Its documented patterns help new work stay consistent across accounts, access, billing, operations, and deployment.

What's included in this release:

• Authentication, email confirmation, password recovery, memberships, roles, account switching, and invitations provide a usable tenancy foundation.
• Pundit authorization, tenant-scoped public IDs, Entitlements, and Limits align permissions and plan access with application-owned concepts.
• Pay and Stripe support account-level billing while separating payment-provider state from product access and quantities.
• Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus, Tailwind, Solid Queue, and Solid Cable support Rails-first interfaces and background operations.
• Docker, Kamal, GitHub Actions, RuboCop, Brakeman, tests, AGENTS.md, ARCHITECTURE.md, contracts, and recipes provide production and agent-ready context.

Together, these capabilities give a new Rails product a coherent, extensible place to start.
